In video below, Marc Rudov makes some very good points: Men spend double of what women spend on Valentine’s day. It is kind of Benevolent Sexism (short form BS – also bullshit), and a double standard where women want equality everywhere else when it suits them, e.g. in workplace (only high paying jobs actually), but appeal to men’s sense of being a protector/provider and chivalry on Valentine’s day. The woman says it is about a day of romance, to which Marc responds “If you are not getting romance other days of the year”… Yeah, that sure sounds phony and contrived to invent one day of the year about romance. And the undertone of expectations are very clear – a man gifts and provides, and that’s what gets the wheels of romance moving. So if the wheels of romance stop moving at … [Read more...] about Valentine’s day — should men boycott or celebrate it?

Warnings for foreigners marrying Indian women
Just a decade or so earlier, it used to be commonly mentioned in anecdotes about some foreigners preferring to marry Indian women since they are supposedly family-oriented and submissive, meaning they may not file for divorce or force husband to go through other trauma western women are becoming famous for. My editor, my rapist
The news about Tarun Tejpal sexual harassment case is getting 24X7 coverage on media in the last couple of weeks. The case has got huge attention also because Tarun Tejpal and his Tehelka news magazine had the reputation of being at the forefront of being firebrand and being merciless with double standards and hypocrisy in public life, and now he is at the receiving end of the same treatment from rest of media and general public! On this site I try to apply a man sense and men's rights view of events in the world, simply because of the fact that the usual public opinion is mostly gynocentric because of the constant dosage fed by the media and now even educational textbooks. Which is not to suggest that I support Tarun Tejpal's actions and Tehelka's handling of it in any way, on the … [Read more...] about My editor, my rapist

A recent news which is making headlines is about illegal surveillance being carried out on a woman in Gujarat. http://www.deccanherald.com/content/369154/modi-aide-amit-shah-accused.html Calling the woman by a fictitious name 'Madhuri', the websites alleged that the illegal surveillance was ordered by Shah for his 'Saheb' and the police followed her inside malls, restaurants, gyms, airport, flights and even when she visited relatives and went to see her mother at a hospital. Singhal, who is an accused in the Ishrat Jahan case and is out on bail, apparently handed over hundreds of recorded telephonic conversations to the CBI to try to show how three key wings of the Gujarat Police--the State Intelligence Bureau, the Crime Branch and the Anti-Terrorist Squad --allegedly … [Read more...] about This is what a male dominated society looks like
