Rohtak sisters ‘molestation’ case: first media circus, and now investigation circus
According to latest news, a local Haryana court has allowed polygraph (lie-detector) test on both 3 boys accused of molestation and the accusers -- Rohtak sister duo. http://www.dnaindia.com/india/report-local-haryana-court-allows-polygraph-test-on-rohtak-sisters-2044217 Consent had been sought from the victims to conduct lie-detector test on them, to which they agreed, the victims' lawyer told reporters. He said SIT's investigating officer Manjeet Singh had sought the consent from the victims. Contrary to people’s opinion that such exercises will bring out the truth quickly into the open, it is an exercise in frustrating the easier and true course of investigation and justice: use information given by eye-witnesses. When there were eye-witnesses who said in front of cameras for … [Read more...] about Rohtak sisters ‘molestation’ case: first media circus, and now investigation circus
Supreme court says let adamant husbands be raped by 498a, but spare old parents
One thing which I have maintained is that if our Supreme Court gives one judgment which seems to be favour of husbands, it will be followed within 6 months with another judgment which will remind them their due role within the family; which was eloquently put once by ex-Justice Katju’s in SC: A vacation bench of justices Markandeya Katju and Deepak Verma observed, "Bibi joh boltee hai woh sunno (listen to whatever your wife says), as otherwise it could land you in trouble. Because if you do not listen to her, you will suffer the consequences." "Hum sab bhogi hai (we are all sufferers)," the bench said in a lighter vein. Now the current news story says that SC is unhappy that husbands are becoming ‘adamant’ in face of 498a complaints by wives. Their main grouse is not that a false … [Read more...] about Supreme court says let adamant husbands be raped by 498a, but spare old parents
Truth is out: ‘Braveheart’ Rohtak sisters are third rate bullies and extortion racketeers
The Rohtak sisters Pooja and Arti Kumar who became national sensations by standing up to few boys who ‘molested’ them are now getting shredded as more videos and eye-witnesses’ accounts come to light. Update Feb 27, 2015: As I had already asserted, the polygraph tests were done to protect the Rohtak sister duo, and that’s exactly how the case is turning out to be. If the lie-detector tests had gone in their favour, then they would have splashed it in media. Now that it went against the duo, you tell the world that lie-detector tests are not reliable. Update Dec 5, 2014: Please sign this Change.org petition to prosecute the 2 Rohtak sisters for making false accusations. Following are the earlier news stories in 2 parts when the Rohtak sisters were being lionized as bravehearts: … [Read more...] about Truth is out: ‘Braveheart’ Rohtak sisters are third rate bullies and extortion racketeers

Send email/post to law commission to implement shared parenting law to get better child access/custody/visitation
Law Commission of India has released a Consultation Paper on Adopting a Shared Parentage System in India on Nov 10, 2014. Any citizen can submit their suggestions which have to reach law commission latest by Dec 5, 2014. All fathers and men facing marital issues are advised to send their suggestions to Law Commission in favour of shared parenting being adopted in India, which will help fathers to get better access to and reasonable shared physical custody of their children. If you do strongly feel however that mother is always best for child, just remember the unwritten rule followed in the courts that father is best to pay maintenance and money, and nothing more than that! So don’t feel surprised if during mediation, CAW cell ‘counselling’, in DV cases/family … [Read more...] about Send email/post to law commission to implement shared parenting law to get better child access/custody/visitation
