According to this recent news, Jaipur police had found over 4206 false/fake cases within one year alone in 2015-16. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/jaipur/4206-fake-cases-filed-in-city-last-year/articleshow/56673897.cms JAIPUR: The Jaipur police have found that 4,206 fake caseswere reported in Jaipur between 2015-16. Template/Format for newspaper apology by wife for filing false complaint or cases

6 Aug 2016 By videv 7 Comments

Friends, many a husbands have gone through the un-envious situation of having to deal with a wife who has dragged them to CAW cell/mahila thana, to police, or filed cases like DV/CrPC 125; and if that was not enough, later she proclaims that she wants to come back, or even files an RCR (restitution of conjugal rights) petition on husband in family court.  I have already outlined in this post in some detail on how to handle such now-I-hate-you-now-I-want-you type of wife. But I have realized that the “thanks but no thanks” approach is not working out for many husbands,   …[Continue Reading]

Invoke IPC 209 on those making false complaints – Delhi HC judgment by Justice J R Midha

24 Jan 2016 By videv 3 Comments

I am beginning to build respect for Justice J R Midha of Delhi High Cout.  Few of his previous judgments are already covered on this site.  Those refer to his decisions on making filing of income and assets affidavits mandatory in any matrimonial suit (divorce, RCR etc), so the the time of court and both parties can be saved in trying to find the level of income/assets of husband and wife, and need for maintenance of wives. This recent judgment marks a departure from judiciary’s almost lack of concern for unscrupulous litigants and accusers from wasting time of courts, taxpayers’   …[Continue Reading]

Breaking news! An FIR has been registered by suburban Kandivali police against a woman today for allegedly cheating, trying to extort money, reneging on her divorce agreement as well as threatening to file a false dowry case against her husband.  Case has been registered against two of the woman’s close relatives also. According to the case which was filed on April 9, the police has charged the accused persons under Section 385 (extortion), Section 420 (cheating) and Section 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code. After Rohtak sisters episode, Haryana women’s commission wants to prosecute women for filing false cases!

11 Mar 2015 By videv 3 Comments

The ‘braveheart’ Rohtak sisters fiasco has probably shown name of Haryana in such ‘limelight’ that the chief of women’s commission there has instructed Superintendents of Police to book case against all false complainants under IPC 182, to check the misuse of laws meant to protect women.  No need to guess which which laws: IPC 354 (outraging modesty of a woman), IPC 376 (rape), and so on. http://www.tribuneindia.com/news/haryana/sps-told-to-book-women-for-false-complaints/49275.html In order to prevent the misuse of Acts in the name of crime against women, the Haryana State Commission for Women (HSCW) has asked the SPs of all districts to book case against   …[Continue Reading]

How to handle false cases from wife who has a boyfriend

2 Feb 2015 By videv 2 Comments

In case you face threats or actual legal cases like DV, CrPC 125, 498A, 406 from your wife who also has a boyfriend, the situation can be turned to an advantage, of course only if one is able to get over the shock of the whole fraud which has been perpetrated, and assess things from thereon.  The context of this post refers to those marriages where the wife starts to show erratic behaviour etc right in beginning of married life (read Advice to men post for details).  Many such women come from feminist/matriarchal families, and if not outright feminist family,   …[Continue Reading]

Supreme court says let adamant husbands be raped by 498a, but spare old parents

10 Dec 2014 By videv 8 Comments

One thing which I have maintained is that if our Supreme Court gives one judgment which seems to be favour of husbands, it will be followed within 6 months with another judgment which will remind them their due role within the family; which was eloquently put once by ex-Justice Katju’s in SC: A vacation bench of justices Markandeya Katju and Deepak Verma observed, “Bibi joh boltee hai woh sunno (listen to whatever your wife says), as otherwise it could land you in trouble. Because if you do not listen to her, you will suffer the consequences.” “Hum sab bhogi hai   …[Continue Reading]

Truth is out: ‘Braveheart’ Rohtak sisters are third rate bullies and extortion racketeers

4 Dec 2014 By videv 5 Comments

The Rohtak sisters Pooja and Arti Kumar who became national sensations by standing up to few boys who ‘molested’ them are now getting shredded as more videos and eye-witnesses’ accounts come to light. Update Feb 27, 2015: As I had already asserted, the polygraph tests were done to protect the Rohtak sister duo, and that’s exactly how the case is turning out to be.  If the lie-detector tests had gone in their favour, then they would have splashed it in media.  Now that it went against the duo, you tell the world that lie-detector tests are not reliable. Update Dec   …[Continue Reading]

False dowry harassment aka 498a case ground for divorce, says Supreme Court

25 Nov 2014 By videv 19 Comments

Note: the primary intention of this website is not to inform on how to get divorce from cruel wife, so people who are visiting with that intention can read my book or any other book on cruelty on husbands.  And maybe stop asking the MRAs about how to get divorce based on cruelty/desertion etc, because most of them have no expertise on those topics anyway. Original post continues below: If a woman’s complaint accusing her husband and in-laws of cruelty under the dreaded Section 498A of Indian Penal Code turns out to be false, then the man is entitled to   …[Continue Reading]

What to do if CAW cell/police/advocate is putting pressure to compromise

26 Oct 2014 By videv 49 Comments

Gentlemen and friends, here we attempt to discuss the dreaded C-word called Compromise.  It is a favourite word used by advocates, CAW cell, and judges too when we face false allegations of domestic violence, dowry harassment aka IPC 498a, IPC 406 aka keeping wife’s gifts/stridhan etc. etc. Also read the Innocent until proven guilty is the law if you haven’t already since that sets the context for this post.  I have written another post about compromise during 498a cases, you can read that too. Regarding police/CAW putting pressure to compromise: The sad reality is many people who face these issues   …[Continue Reading]
