This post is about how to complain against any judge be it trial courts, high courts, or supreme court in India. Right now it is being written with information collected from various places and based on personal experiences of people, and over time will have authoritative information. This post however does not cover about bad or unbecoming conduct of a judge outside of a court or trial scenario. I am beginning to build respect for Justice J R Midha of Delhi High Cout. Few of his previous judgments are already covered on this site. Those refer to his decisions on making filing of income and assets affidavits mandatory in any matrimonial suit (divorce, RCR etc), so the the time of court and both parties can be saved in trying to find the level of income/assets of husband and wife, and need for maintenance of wives. This recent judgment marks a departure from judiciary’s almost lack of concern for unscrupulous litigants and accusers from wasting time of courts, taxpayers’ money, and last but not the least of the accused party or defendants, depending on whether it’s a criminal or civil case. CJI views on rape reflect failure of judiciary
Recent news of chief justice of India Mr Balakrishnan supporting choice of rape victim to marry the accused has shocked several among public. http://news.in.msn.com/national/article.aspx?cp-documentid=3687586 "Due regard must be given to their personal autonomy since in some cases the victim may choose to marry the perpetrator or choose to give birth to a child conceived through forced intercourse," Balakrishnan said.
