What right does a Crime (Women) CAW cell has in doing mediation for married couples? Crime against women cannot be set right by mediation between private parties. If something is a crime, then proper FIR, and then criminal court procedures have to be followed. Else you admit that it was not a crime in the first place but a marital discord between married couple or family. Only criminals should be called to CAW and Criminals need no counselling.

Otherwise it could only mean it is a corruption cum extortion cell to extort money by 'settling' false cases.
